"Freedom of Speech is what AMERICA is all about"

but freedom comes with limiting responsibilities

Pure freedom of speech/expression, in the hands of the irresponsible, is as dangerous as censorship. Usually, the ones who cry loudest about freedom of speech are those who work hardest to silence any opposing view.

U squared -

I have always embraced the approach that an individual's right to free speech ends where my eardrums begin.

I generally observe the reciprocal of that arrangement as well - unless someone asks, then I view that as a waiver to launch on tactical warning.
